Important Information

Anchors Away ceremonies are designed to handle every detail so that your special day will be carefree. Please review the following information on booking an Anchors Away wedding package. Due to the popularity of the program, bridal couples should call to check availability of wedding dates prior to booking their cruise.

• The bridal couple must be sailing to hold a ceremony onboard a ship and must book their cruise prior to booking their wedding package

• Wedding packages are available in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Port Canaveral, Juneau, Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Halifax, St. Thomas, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Kona, Sydney Australia, and Holland America’s private Island of Half Moon Cay, Bahamas.

• Weddings are performed in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Port Canaveral, San Diego, Vancouver, Seattle, and Los Angeles on the day of sailing, prior to the ship departing. Ceremony times are 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Legal ceremonies are NOT performed at sea.

• All weddings and ceremony extras must be booked and paid for as early as possible. No additions or changes are possible less than thirty (30) days prior to sailing date.

• The bridal couple is responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license. Anchors Away wedding consultants will assist the couple with the process by providing the necessary information for each specific port.

• We strongly recommend that the bridal party arrive at least one day prior to sailing to avoid late flights, traffic etc. on their wedding day. It is the bridal couple’s responsibility to arrive at the wedding on time.

• Several of the services we contract on your behalf, such as transportation, musicians, videographers and photographers are contracted on a time basis. If these times are exceeded, Royal Ocean Events Inc. reserves the right to charge you for any excess billing. If you paid by credit card, we will add this excess fee to the card and send you acknowledgement.

• Wedding packages can not be broken up

• Prices are subject to change without notice

• Prices subject to applicable tax

• 15% service charge will be added to your final total
